The Evaluation Phase is 100% complete. The Final Evaluation paper has been submitted to CMS and is on the EMS website. The paper was reviewed by all participants and comments from CMS and WEDI were included in the paper. CMS was very pleased with the results of the pilot and Karen Trudel, deputy director, CMS Office of HIPAA Standards, said that the pilot ‘ shows that there is clear ROI for providers’. The Executive Summary from the Evaluation paper is attached.

The Companion Guide has been completed and has also been placed on the web.
