• Representatives from New York State Medicaid, Independent Health, Excellus, HealthNow, Oxford, Empire Medicare Services, Wellchoice participated in a Payer panel discussion.

Over the last few years, the attendance at these sessions has fluctuated drastically, with a low of 24 registrants to a high of 127. Due to the unpredictability of attendees and the high cost of hosting the sessions, the decision was made to hold the HUG meetings biannually rather than three times a year. In addition, it has been determined that it will be necessary to raise the registration fee due to the inconsistency in the number of attendees and the increased travel and accommodation costs for the speakers.

This anonymous survey is intended to help determine the most effective way to communicate and share the most recent technological strides and information with the health care community.
