Important PS&R Update
The redesigned Provider Statistical & Reimbursement (PS&R) system has been delayed. The implementation date has been postponed to a date to be determined by Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
When PS&R Version 37.B was released in June 2007, CMS anticipated that the redesigned PS&R system would be utilized for all cost reports with fiscal years ending July 31, 2007 and later. In the meantime, Version 37.D has been released so that all claims will flow to the current Legacy PS&R. Cost reports shall be filed and settled using the current legacy PS&R until the redesigned PS&R schedule is determined.
As the implementation date for the redesigned PS&R system is established, CMS plans to issue detailed information related to the training and rollout of the redesigned PS&R System.
