EDI Help Desk

EDI Help Desk Line of Business Modifications
Effective beginning Thursday, February 7, 2008, the EDI Help Desk (1-877-273-4334) has modified the line of business options. The following changes were made to better serve our EDI customers

Press 1 for the Jurisdiction B DME MAC:
If you meant to call the Durable Medical Equipment Common Electronic Data Interchange Help Desk, press # now to be routed to that desk.
For Claim Status Inquiry Password Resets, Press 1

Press 2 for Medicare Part B:
The EDI Help Desk (1-877-273-4334) is extending their hours of operation effective Thursday, February 14, 2008. National Government Services made this change to enhance and improve the customer service we provide our electronic submitter community.

The EDI Help Desk will now be open daily until 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). It will no longer close during lunch hours. The new hours are as follows:
EDI Help Desk Hours of Operation 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ET), Monday – Friday

NOTE: The EDI Help Desk will be open until 6:00 p.m. ET for Password Reset Calls only.

Information Needed When E-mailing the EDI Help Desk
The National Government Services EDI Help Desk welcomes e-mail inquiries. This allows the Help Desk technician time to research the issue and respond in writing.

Contact the EDI Help Desk via e-mail if the issue or question requires extensive research or if the inquiry requires a written response.


The response time for e-mail inquires is within 48 hours of receipt. If the information listed above is not included in the e-mail, the response time may be delayed.
