If you have Part B and you have diabetes, Medicare can help pay for a variety of supplies and services. For some people with diabetes, under certain conditions, the benefits may include:

Blood sugar monitors along with testing supplies

Insulin pumps including the insulin used with the pump

Therapeutic shoes

Diabetes self-management training

Medical Nutrition Therapy

Hemoglobin A1c tests

Special eye exams

Foot care if you have certain complications

Flu and pneumococcal pneumonia shots (vaccinations)
