If you have Part B and you have diabetes, Medicare can help pay for a variety of supplies and services. For some people with diabetes, under certain conditions, the benefits may include:

• Blood sugar monitors along with testing supplies

• Insulin pumps including the insulin used with the pump

• Therapeutic shoes

• Diabetes self-management training

• Medical Nutrition Therapy

• Hemoglobin A1c tests

• Special eye exams

• Foot care if you have certain complications

• Flu and pneumococcal pneumonia shots (vaccinations)
