3.4.2 Software Upgrade
PC Print Version 3.4.2 is now available
and has been modified to reflect New Technologies Add-On
Payments for 835 remittance versions 3051 4.A, 4010, and
4010A.1.

The Provider Summary Screen/Report
has been modified to reflect New Technologies Add-On
Payments. The data will be in the PLB segment and
will be reported with an adjustment reason code of CS
and an adjustment identifier of ZL along with the
dollar amount.

The All Claims Screen/Report header
has been modified to include a field for “NEW
TECH.”

The Single Claims Screen/Report has
been modified to reflect New Technologies Add-On
Payments. The data will be in the claim level CAS
segment and will be reported with adjustment reason
codes OA / 94.
The PC Print Software and User Guide
are available under the Download Files
tab on the Empire Medicare Services Web site:
www.empiremedicare.com.
If you prefer to order a CD installation, download the
software order form by clicking on the View Order
Form link on the PC Print Software Upgrade page.
Print the form, complete, and mail along with your check
to the address indicated on the form.
PC Print Version 3.4.2 supports
translation of all 835 remittance versions except for
3030M.
