Last Chance to Avoid Costly Claim Submission Delays for Your Facility

 

Has your patient accounts manager submitted the online New FISS User IDs form for your facility? 

The transition of the Empire Data Center to Companion Data Services (CDS) will take place on Monday, December 17, 2007.  If your facility has not designated a Point of Contact to receive the new FISS User IDs by Friday, November 30, 2007, users will not be able to access the FISS system after the transition on December 17.

The New FISS User IDs form will be available online until Friday, November 30, 2007: http://www.empiremedicare.com/omnipro/forms/newuser.htm

The new FISS user IDs will be distributed to the facility’s Point of Contact starting this week.  If your facility did not name a Point of Contact, users will need to reapply for a FISS ID.  However, as part of the transition, it is necessary to put a FREEZE on processing any new FISS requests until December 17, 2007.
