M2 Migration – 835 Format Issue

Attention:  Part A EDI Submitters
M2 Migration – 835 Format Issue

With the migration to the new NGS Gateway M2 product, the 835 transaction set was being delivered to submitters in a segmented, unwrapped format.  This was a change from the unsegmented or wrapped format that was being delivered from the previous OMNIPRO system. 

While many submitters can support receiving the transaction in either format, however a significant number of submitters cannot which has impacted their ability to complete their migration to the new National Government Services gateway.

A change has been made to the M2 product, and effective, Monday, April 14, 2008, the 835 transaction set will be delivered in the wrapped format.

Part A submitters who have identified this as an issue will be contacted to facilitate the completion of their migration.
