Problem Identified with Transition to the CMS HIGLAS Financial Process

As a result of our recent Part A FISS Quarterly Release over this past weekend, we have identified a problem for our National Government Services sites that have transitioned to the CMS HIGLAS financial process, which may cause you some confusion. You may be receiving two (2) Remittance Advices for the same payment. The first Remittance Advice shows your old OSCAR provider number with the actual payment amounts, on the Summary Page, but no claim data, while the second Remittance Advice will be under your NPI number and will show the related claim detail lines, but on that Summary Page, there will be an Adjustment to Balance to zero out the payment.

There is only one (1) payment; and the payments are correct.

We regret the confusion that this may cause, our System Maintainer is working to correct this system problem. No ETA for resolution has been established.
