Reason Code File Update

Providers wishing to view the current list of FISS reason code changes may access the list on the Empire Medicare Services Web site at: www.empiremedicare.com/transfer/readex.htm.

If you access the EMS homepage at www.empiremedicare.com, click on Part A under Provider Information, read and click on Medicare Coding in the Part A category listing. Select the FISS Reason Codes Link which will bring up the following:
