New Medicare EDI Help Desk Phone Number Effective February 26, 2007 National Government Services (NGS), is announcing to all of our Medicare Part A and Part B electronic customers that effective Monday, February 26, 2007, there will be a new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Help Desk to contact for all Medicare EDI issues and assistance. The new NGS EDI Help Desk phone number and hours of operation are detailed in the chart below. The NGS EDI Help Desk will be staffed with Medicare associates to continue to respond to your electronic needs including e-Link and FTP file transfer issues, passwords resets, error reports, etc. Please note that the NGS Medicare EDI Help Desk staff can only respond to EDI issues for Medicare Part A and Part B submitters and providers. If you also are an Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield provider you will continue to call the IES Technical Help Desk Number at (866) 889-7322 for all Corporate and/or Commercial EDI issues. Please share this information with all staff affected at your offices and facilities.
