Pro32 allows you to import a claim file or claim print file using its PrintLink feature. The imported file can be checked for errors and claims corrected before being transmitted to Empire Medicare Services. Print/PAYMENT FORM PC Print is a Windows based PC software product developed by the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The PC Print translator program allows viewing and printing of Medicare Part A X12 835 versions 3051 3.A, 3051 4.A, and 4010 remittance data. This software does not support systematic posting of the 835 remittance. PC Print for Windows will run on three different Windows platforms, Win95, Win98, and Windows NT. PC Print software and manuals can be downloaded at no charge from www.empiremedicare.com or if you prefer to order a diskette installation, download the software order form (see link below). The Empire OMNIPROsm system is an electronic vehicle to exchange claim information in a standardized format with providers.
For Medicare Part A, Empire OMNIPROsm is the front-end system that performs submitter and provider authorization editing and is used to access the Florida Intermediary Standard System (FISS). All claim inquiries and claim entry/claim correction functions are performed in the FISS system. For Medicare Part B, the interactive component of Empire OMNIPROsm supports on-line claim entry/claim correction (i.e., correct errored claims without having to rekey entire claim) and claim status and claims as submitted inquiries. Claims as submitted inquiry displays all electronic claims submitted by providers. Electronic Post Office (E-MAIL) provides a mechanism for communication between Empire Medicare Services and providers. E-MAIL is available for Medicare Part A and Part B. REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPIRE OMNIPROsm A logon assigned by Empire Medicare Services is required for each person who accesses the Empire OMNIPROsm system.
Empire e-Link is a file transfer application. It will allow you to send claims, download reports, and receive remittances. This requires you to access the AT&T network. For those submitters/providers who require TN3270 emulation capabilities in order to access online claim inquiry, correction, and eligibility applications such as OMNIPROSM, IVANS has contracted with Seagull Software Inc. to offer a software package named BlueZoneTM. Their per-workstation cost of this software, if needed, is $54.00 with an annual update/maintenance fee of $12.00. Our recommendation is that you purchase BlueZoneTM to take advantage of its easy to use interface, as well as support and maintenance provided by IVANS and Seagull Software.
