This selection is for Institutional billing only and is not enabled in the Medicare Part B version of PC-ACE Pro32.

This selection allows Medicare Part B submitters to perform the following functions:

• Enter Claims – Claim entry (keyboard)
• List Claims – Claim review, printing and edit/update
• Process Claims – Edit imported claims to ensure they meet CMS requirements
• Prepare Claims – After editing, create a HIPAA-compliant claim output file

Reference File Maintenance

Select this icon for PC-ACE’s Reference File Maintenance. This enables you to enter additional ICD9, HCPCS, Payer, and Modifier codes if necessary. You will also need to enter your Submitter ID and provider numbers that you use to bill the individual companies. Your patient information is also stored here.

Data Communications Function

Click on this icon when you are ready to send your claims to Empire. You can also click on the AT&T desktop icon to go to IVANS /e-LINK .

Claim Activity Scheduling

Set PC-ACE to automatically process or transmit your claims. These functions can be performed unattended, leaving you free to do other things.

ANSI 835 Functions

Online receipt of your Electronic Remittance provides more versatility, line-level detail, and enhanced claim Reason and Remark codes. For more information on Electronic Remittance, visit Setting Up Remittance page.

System Utilities

System Backup and Restore protects your business from the loss of valuable data that can cost time and money. You can also pack crucial files to maintain PC-ACE’s optimal efficiency or reindex files that have been damaged by a power loss or some other unforeseen failure.
