There are a few things that you have to do before you can use PC-ACE. First, you have to enter information into PC-ACE to identify the following two entities, in the order shown.

Submitter – Found under the Codes/Misc tab in Reference File Maintenance, this identifies who will be submitting claims to Empire Medicare Services.

Provider – What provider or providers will you be submitting claims for?

Enter the above information by selecting the icon with the yellow folder, on the main menu, for Reference File Maintenance.

You will then see the Reference File Maintenance screen.

You would begin setting up PC-ACE by adding the Submitter information to the Reference File. To do this, left-click on the Codes/Misc tab, then left-click on the Submitter button.
