Empire is committed to educating providers about the issues we identify through our multiple Medical Review processes. In addition to the findings we publish in What’s New, detailed Local Coverage Determination information is available on our web site for each of the topics we cover.
This new web site option provides information on significant Medical Review findings in Fiscal Year 2004 and will be updated as we move forward in Fiscal Year 2005 You may check What’s New for both New Jersey and New York as each may have different issues in that geographic area.
We encourage providers and their staff to view this portion of our site for information on why specific services have been chosen for review, what our findings demonstrated and what implications those findings have for all provider practices.
